HEMBILLING Privacy Policy

High Efficiencies Medical Billing Solutions Inc. (“HEMBILLING,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website hembilling.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting our contact form, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete the contact form on our Site, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, practice name, email address, and phone number (if you provide one), along with any message you include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics, which automatically collects standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and how you arrived at the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to gather this information. See “Cookies and analytics” below.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or patient protected health information (PHI) through the Site. Please do not include patient or protected health information in the contact form.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about our services, to follow up on a request you have submitted, and to understand and improve how visitors use our Site (via Google Analytics).

If you provide a phone number, you agree that we may contact you by phone or text regarding your inquiry and our services. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the contact details below.

How your information is stored and shared

When you submit the contact form, your information is delivered to us by email through our email service provider and is not stored in a separate database on the Site. We retain these inquiry emails only as long as needed to respond to and manage your request, and delete them periodically thereafter.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site (for example, our email delivery provider and Google Analytics), and only for that purpose; if required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HEMBILLING, our clients, or others.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic and usage. Google Analytics places cookies on your device and processes usage data on our behalf. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Most browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

Data retention

We keep contact-form inquiries and related correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request and for our ordinary business and recordkeeping purposes, after which we delete them. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google’s data retention settings.

Your choices and rights

You may access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted to us by emailing us at the address below; opt out of contact by asking us to stop emailing, calling, or texting you; and opt out of analytics using the Google tools described above. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below, and we will respond as required by law.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including limiting access to the email account that receives contact-form submissions. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
